Michael Turner’s sets pull from real situations. Relationships, habits people do not realize they have, and why sports fans take normal games personally. Some of the material is planned and some comes straight from talking to the audience, which usually changes the direction of the show pretty quickly.
The crowd ends up shaping the night more than expected. Sometimes it becomes a sports argument, sometimes a group confession, sometimes just jokes that go too far and stay there.
